New player development manager joins Indiana Live Casino
SHELBYVILLE,
Ind. (Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2009) – The closest casino
to Indianapolis continues to lure experienced gaming industry talent
as it announces its latest managerial staff addition. Jim Mackie has
been named player development manager at Indiana Live Casino.
In his role, he will be charged with leading efforts to provide a high
level of personalized service to thousands of VIP patrons while identifying
while introducing and developing new relationships with new high-level
players to the casino.
Mackie, 53, joins Indiana Live Casino from Argosy Casino in Lawrenceburg,
where during his eight-year tenure he held titles of player development
executive, senior casino host and other customer service titles.
Before embarking on a career in the gaming industry, for 22 years Mackie
was owner and proprietor of Mackie Quality Foods, a retail/wholesale
food business.
Originally from Harrison, Ohio, Mackie earned a business administration
degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He is licensed as a player
development executive with the Indiana Gaming Commission.
Currently a resident of Sunman, Ind., Mackie is married to wife Andi
and has two grown children and one grandchild.
